Hey there Manitoba Sellers and Shoppers!

We have some exciting news for our upcoming Made in Canada market being held in Brandon.

Keep reading if you are someone who has been thinking about opening up an Etsy shop!

As you know, we are bringing our Etsy Made in Canada Market to Brandon this September.  At Etsy Manitoba, our goal is to grow the Etsy community and support local makers throughout the province in their creative endeavors.  And so, we are excited to announce that this year we have set aside space for a special non-Etsy boutique to showcase local makers who are interested in joining our amazing community.  If you’ve been thinking about starting an Etsy shop, but weren’t sure if it was right for you this might be the perfect opportunity to see what a wonderful community it is!  The makers chosen for our “Future Etsy Seller of Manitoba” boutique will be automatically entered to win a super startup package consisting of some amazing prizes ($300 value):

  • 40 free Etsy listings
  • Photography Session with a professional photographer. You’ll have product shots taken and learn some of the tricks of the trade to enhance your photos.
  •  “Intro to Etsy” Workshop with Etsy Sellers of Manitoba Team Captain Amanda Reimer of Silver Moose Arts. Learn algorithms, how to enhance your listings and other tips to increase sales on the global Etsy market through this one on one workshop.
  •  Free spot in our next Etsy market. That’s right! We will reserve a space for you and your shop at our upcoming spring market (Date and Location TBD). 
  • Ongoing support from the Etsy Sellers of Manitoba team to grow your shop. 

The winner will be chosen via online voting by local shoppers and Etsy peers after the market.  Stay tuned to see who will be selling in our boutique!

Etsy Sellers of Manitoba is a team here to help you succeed as a seller on Etsy and in the local community.
This is a “Rural Friendly” Etsy Team for any shop based out of Manitoba, Canada with
a focus on growing and helping each other by offering workshops, mentors, and markets for their team members.
This is a new team working to create a group that encourages growth and community mindedness between makers, vintage and craft supply curators with Etsy shops new and old.
This group is the creator/host for the Makers Market at the Centennial Concert Hall, the Etsy Boutique Pop-Up at Scattered Seeds and the co-host of Etsy Made in Canada : Manitoba Edition.

We LOVE our bison designed by PAPER CANOE and we want to see it on more products. Our ESMB Merch bursary program needs fresh products from you. How does it work?
We buy handmade products inspired by Etsy Sellers of Manitoba or using our Bison at wholesale prices and resell them at retail prices in our markets and online. The profit is then used to create a Bursary we giveaway at the end of the year to a lucky Manitoba Etsy Shop to help grow their business!
